The Girlfriend Gala hit new heights in 2015 with its move to the Penn Oaks Golf Club in West Chester PA. AS the Girlfriends checked out the fabulous raffle and silent auction surprises, they found new Girlfriends as they looked for their Girlfriend “match” in a fun networking opener. The evening featured lots of women’s empowerment themes including those from Butler Bag and Leader Girlz creator Jen Groover’s inspiring message, attorney and author Cathy Sikorski’s funny slant on caregiving, and Annmarie Kelly’s motivating message about getting a midlife makeover started. The beneficiary was the Phil-Hanna Fund which supports women of non-traditional age who are returning to the nursing program at Delaware County Community College.
