What a treat to have Dr. Mike Dow talking with us about brain fog, brain drain and leaky brain…the one that scares me the most because I don’t want anything leaking out of my brain. He had some
great advice and suggestions for shifting out of that foggy feeling and back into the focus and clarity that you know to be your real self!
One of the tips Dr. Mike gave was for adding turmeric to your diet. He suggests adding 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper to a glass of water and drinking it everyday. In fact, his morning “cocktail” includes those two spices and also cayenne pepper in lemon water.
Having done both spicy cocktails, I have to be honest and tell you that – at least for the first few times – I added some honey. It worked and I eventually transitioned to just the spices.

I invited you to join me on Tuesday, January 12, for my savvy sizzle master class. It’s on the phone and it’s free. You can learn more about it, and register, here: Savvy Sizzle
My quote today came from Jean Otte and her story in my first book, Victorious Woman! Shaping Life’s Challenges into Personal Victories. It’s great for the start of a New Year! Jean said,
“It’s never too late to start a new journey;
it doesn’t have to be a big journey, it can be a little one.
Just start it.”
Let’s do it together!
Happy New Year!
