RadioWrap-Up.7.28.17: Life as a Stunt Actor

Fear. It can paralyze the best of us. And, if you’ve ever fallen, you know how scary it is. But how would you handle fear if you fell for a living?
That’s what Lisa Loving Dalton did in her role as a stunt double. While hanging over cliffs, getting hit by a moving car, dropping from five stories up, and dodging a bridge full of speeding cars—Lisa met and mingled with top celebrities, including Madonna, Meryl Streep, Robert Redford, Katherine Hepburn, Sean Connery, Dustin Hoffman, Darryl Hannah, Michelle Pfeiffer, Robin Williams, Robert Downey Jr., Liam Neeson, and Cher.
She has good stories about her Hollywood stunt double experiences. She’s sharing those at Happy Hour, along with the life lessons she learned along the way. We’re dishing the dirt at this week’s Friday Happy Hour, so join us for the fun!
Learn more about Lisa, and read a couple chapters of her books on her website:
I talked briefly with Lisa about a couple of her blog posts. I found them pretty interesting and maybe you will too. Lisa’s written them in episodes. Here they are:

Here are a couple links where, I think, you can watch The Time Machine for free:

And here was my question: What could you do differently to model better behavior in your self or your family? I’d love to hear what you have to say!!

What are the Maine Diaries?

The Maine Diaries is a fun look at my annual adventure to New England where I unwind from normal life and reconnect with myself.

I was captivated by the Maine Coast on my first trip there in the late 90’s. In the years since, I’ve traveled up and down the coast from Kittery to Calais but I spend most of my Maine time Downeast. I love the adventures I have and the chance to unwind from the world and restore my inner clarity. I chronicle my experiences in The Maine Diaries.
